Shrive

A sentient blade formed in a gruesome ritual, Shrive a length of polished, stark-white bone sharpened to a razor edge. Moving with the wielder's willpower as much as their phyiscal strength, it calls for the cleansing and purification of all nearby living beings, controlled mostly by Myastan "Faith" Byarin and her uncompromising skepticism.
Shrive was formed from the spinal column of an unnamed cultist, who upon calling out to an unknown power had their bones fatally collapse in and form the blade. It was claimed by Faith before another cultist could take it up, and it has bonded to her since then. It is unclear what Shrive is precisely, or what being was invoked to create it - only that the cultist called on the "dread delusion, the twister of ways and the shaper of forms, the corruptor and the cleanser".
