Starilaskur

Starilaskur is a large Brelish city in northern Breland, situated east of Lake Brey and north of the Seawall Mountains. It is a major lightning rail stop, joining the line from Zilargo, as well as being one of the final stops before Thrane and the Mournland. The city also lies at the juxtaposition of several Orien trade roads, making it a hub of commerce and industry.
Through the war, the city became heavily industrialized. Positioned near critical mines, and on the shores of Lake Brey to allow ship transport, the city sprawled outwards in a way that Sharn couldn't. Soon industrial districts outnumbered the residential ones, House Cannith manufactories spilled outside the city walls, and the city fuelled the Brelish war effort for decades.
The city survived most of the war unscathed, with the exception of a Thranish attack on the city in 916YK. Taking place on Sun's Blessing, the holy day of Dol Arrah - a celebration of peace and the resolving of conflicts, where even armies traditionally lay down arms. Much of the city was ruined and occupied, and even nearly a century later much of the population still holds a grudge against the Thranes.
