Valeria ir'Bartask

The military and religious leader of an Emerald Claw cell, Valeria is old Karrnathi nobility from a familiy in decline. Embracing the Blood of Vol from a young age, she quickly fell into a hardline stance of Karrnathi patriotism and reliance on her comrades-in-arms. While it's arguable if she saw much fighting during the war itself, she rejected the throne's claims of the Emerald Claw as terrorists and criminals, and instead broke from the military along with her squad.
Today she leads an Emerald Claw cell, continuing the war against foreign enemies and the pacifistic traitors on the throne - the ones who stabbed the Blood of Vol in the back after their decades of service, pushed for peace at the first major risk, and continues to sell out Karrnathi interests for foreign money.
Domineering, charismatic, beautiful and power-hungry, she nurses a grudge like an expert. Her cell was wiped out by Reven Folchart and his infiltration, and it is unlikely she has forgiven the his betrayal in the months since - if she knows.
