Vardellion Sabrenda

Father of Alicia Sabrenda, Vardellion was an elven Karrnathi holding officer's rank in their military. An officer in the knights of the Conquering Fist, he was described as an sensible, intelligent man often exhausted by the politicking of the military, sometimes too pragmatic for his own good. He married Ida of Vulyar, a human woman, and had one child, Alicia. She took after him far more than her mother, and he trained with her from a young age. 
Vardellion was presumed killed 15 years ago, after an engagement with Thranish troops near the Scion's Sound. Doubts have been cast about his death, however, as his body was never found - only a keepsake locket - and squadmates have reported him discussing "something following him from the sky".
