Human Supremacism

Human supremacism is the belief that the interests of humanity should be placed before all other concerns. Until the discovery of the Mperi in 2600, human supremacists were a small minority advocating for lessened environmental restrictions on naturally habitable alien worlds. After first contact, however, the movement has rapidly grown and evolved into a more extreme form, now generally proposing that sapient alien life should not be given the same respect as humanity. While some supremacists merely suggest a cautious attitude to dealing with the Mperi and other possible sapient aliens, more extreme elements propose a first strike against any such xenos, to ensure the safety of humanity from what they regard as an existential threat.
