Building off of one main concept to keep my focus from slipping all over the place. Here's hoping it works! My dear Iskani, you are the stars of this show!
Literally and figuratively!
Let's rock this SummerCamp!
The focus of this year's event was centered around all things
Iskani, whether the links be major or minor!
Even if the connections between the articles and the Iskani themselves were exceptionally minor, having that central point that I could gravitate around helped keep me on track and to not go too broad and all over the place with my writing.
Branching Out
I hoped that through this process I could develop the Iskani in some more meaningful ways, and perhaps branch into additional races I'd yet to figure out! I thought this event might lead me to further developing race origins as a whole, perhaps fleshing out the
Ancient Bloodlines by defining a few other races!
I only had three made, one for each bloodline, but hopefully that would soon change! I have future ideas for what I can create for additional Worldspirit races, which include the Iskani, and some ideas for the rest I'd love to play with!
The history of the world itself is another topic I absolutely wanted to dive into! I've been putting a lot of thought into its "shrouded in mystery" backstory and, while I do aim to keep it shrouded in mystery in the world's canon, I hope to define it better for myself and for those who may eventually wish to stage stories here!
