holotheater

holotheaters are large entertainment centres where one can enjoy holographic films, plays and participate in large-scale holographic gaming experiences. While most Kepek have home-holoprojectors, the shows put on at holotheaters are often more immersive and allow for bigger spectacle. holofilms often have a home-viewing version and a holotheater version, which extends what the viewer can see and may even allow them to interact with the surroundings. Holoplays are like any other play with actors on a stage, but holotheaters allow for live special effects, more complex backgrounds and, as with holofilm, interactive seating areas. hologames are slightly different. Even home-holoprojectors allow for VR-like experiences without the need for a headset by projecting the game around them, but the versions offered at holotheaters are often geared towards larger groups of people and large-scale events.
Holotheaters are very popular throughout the Kepek Commonwealth, especially on the space station and ship colonies.
