The Daergar (Deepest) were banished to the deepest parts of Thorbardin after being accused of conspiring against the Hylar. They are closely related to the Theiwar clan and are considered “Dark Dwarves”. Their numbers are plentiful and they are fiercely consumed with hate for the other clans. They are skilled at finding and mining precious ores and have light brown skin and smooth cheeks. Their hair is black or gray, their eyes deep brown or violet and they are somewhat stocky.
THEIWAR
Your darkvision has no range limit and you know and are Trained with an Arcane cantrip of your choice. However, while in bright light you have Disadvantage on attack rolls and Perception checks that rely on sight.
The Theiwar (Thankless) are one of the Clans of Dwarves who live in the underground kingdom of Thorbardin. Their appearance is thin and undernourished, with unkempt black hair and their beards are usually scraggly. Their skin is white due to their aversion to the sun, and any bright light will blind them. They commonly wear heavy cloth and chainmail armor that hangs down to their knees.
ZAKHAR
You have Reliability on defenses against disease effects and can make a Luck Roll to resist such effects that would normally not allow you to.
Another clan of dark dwarves, the Zhakar were the inhabitants of Thoradin before they were defeated by Severus Stonehand. The Zhakar were afflicted with a strange illness, caused by a mold, which resulted in their constant state of decay: they could be considered lepers. Stonehand threw the Zhakar out of Thoradin if they did not swear allegiance to him after their defeat and removal of the mold curse.

HILL DWARVES

KLAR

NEIDAR
You increase your hit points by 2.
The Neidar (knoll dwellers, a.k.a. Nearest, a.k.a. Hill Dwarves) are the dwarves who, at the time of the creation of Thorbardin, chose to live outside. Neidar have deep tan to light brown skin, ruddy cheeks, and bright eyes. Their hair is brown, black, or gray, and the majority of adult males wear long bushy beards and mustaches.

MOUNTAIN DWARVES

DAEWAR
Become Trained in light armors or light shields. If you already have proficiency in light armor or light shields, instead gain proficiency in the next heaviest armor or shield.
The Daewar Dwarves (Dearest) live in the underground kingdom of Thorbardin. They are known to be fanatical in their pursuits and have the best trained and dedicated army beneath the mountain. They believe that they are the beloved of Reorx and many have become Clerics dedicated to him. They built and maintained most of the Temples throughout Thorbardin.
HYLAR
You have Reliability on Perception checks in, on, or related to stonework.
The Hylar Dwarves (Highest) live in the kingdom of Thorbardin. They are well educated, practical-minded, and known for their innate leadership and diplomacy skills. They have long been the dominant clan of Thorbardin and most of the High Kings have come from this clan. Hylar have light brown skin, ruddy cheeks, and dark brown, gray, or green eyes. Their hair is black, gray, brown, or white.
