House Deneith
House Deneith is a human dragonmarked house whose members are highly acclaimed mercenaries and bodyguards known for their efficiency and martial skill. Deneith are the muscle of the dragonmarked houses, having provided raw power to a nation's army. Taking sides is bad for business, so during the Last War, Deneith remained neutral and provided soldiers to all sides. Now that the war has ended, Deneith members are hired for guarding monarchs and providing law enforcement.

Dragonmark
The Mark of Sentinel grants its bearers with an arcane increase in defenses as well as certain abilities that allow them to protect others. These powers have allowed House Deneith to create an industry around martial prowess and protecting those who can pay to hire them.House Industry
House Deneith is now synonymous with elite levels of all things martial, primarily focusing on law enforcement and bodyguards. Many of Khorvaire's most powerful and influential people can be seen flanked by Deneith guards who are more than just a mere symbol of protection, as anyone who has tangled with a dragonmarked Deneith guard will tell you.Sentinel Marshals
When many of Khorvaire's residents think of House Deneith, they think of the Sentinel Marshals. Deneith's Sentinel Marshals are a private law enforcement group that can be found in all nations. Operating outside of a nation's interest, the Marshals enforce the laws of Khorvaire, a esoteric set of rules that some have argued are themselves illegal. This mandate comes from the Marshals' founding back when Galifar I conquered Karrnath and ordered House Deneith to protect the new empire. Either way, if you find yourself on the pointed end of a Marshal's sword, you may not want to argue that point.A Sentinel Marshal (left) and House guard (right) both wearing hardweave.
