The Leveebreaker

The Leveebreaker is a Lyrandar Runner ship captained and owned by Argo Zun. The ship is no longer a part of House Lyrandar's Fleet and is privately owned and operated.

History

During the Last War, a number of Lyrandar runners were docked in southern Breland when Darguun was founded. The ships were stopped from leaving port and remained there for a number of years. Sometime near the end of the war, Argo Zun was in Darguun "on business" when he won one of those abandoned ships in a Three Dragon Ante game.
Upon taking control of the ship, Argo (who has elemental lineage) freed the water elemental and the two came to a deal: The elemental could roam the seas as he pleased while the ship was in port, but he would continue to power the ship and even fight alongside Argo. Argo gave the elemental the name Tidal. Between this time and 998 YK, Argo recruited Biggin', a troll, as his first mate.

Session 2: An Unexpected Guest

While discussing the ship and its history with Marcella, Argo hinted that he has been allowed to keep and captain the Leveebreaker because he is blackmailing House Lyrandar. If others were to find out that the elementals of those ships could be freed, their shipping empire could crumble.

The Leveebreaker, as a House Lyrandar Elemental Runner, is powered by a water elemental and can reach speeds of 65 mph, making it one of the fastest class of ships in all of Khorvaire. The ship is controlled not by a wheel and rudder, but by a dragonshard-powered connection between the helmsman and the elemental.
