Dead-man's Rock
It used to be where people were left to be marooned. After this was abolished, shipwrecks were somehow drawn to this place.
History
Nobody lives here, as there is very little that would sustain life for long. The Pits pirates diligently patrol the sea nearby Dead-man's Rock as it happens to be on the border of their known territory.
Despite the reputation of it being used as a marooner's dump, the Pits pirates have not been known to do this.
There are plans to convert it into a watchtower base if the travel logistics can be figured out, as well as how to prevent shipwreck rubbish from washing up too often.
Geography
It's a small flat island with no obvious source of fresh water. It's surrounded by sea on all sides.
The south side is a rocky beach, while the west and north sides are sandy. The east side is blocked by a sheer eroded cliff wall.
At high tide, the water can rise up to more than a meter and engulf the shore, forcing any moving thing there to retreat to the center.
There is a makeshift shelter made by previous shipwreck survivors close to the east coast, but no hints as to their eventual fate.

Fauna & Flora
Tropical trees and shrubs grow here. A few notable ones are abandoned fruit trees like mangoes and papayas. They may have came from previous shipwrecks.
The only known animals that live here are a few insects and some migratory birds making a pit stop.

Natural Resources
The island doesn't have much in the way of natural resources, even its stone isn't much use in building.
While the pirates attempted to grow fruit trees wildly on this island, not many of them took root properly due to the high sea table there.
