Hytian

The Hytian are a race of people originating (and primarily found upon) the planet Aesyle in the Atlas System.

Naming Traditions

Family names

Children are given three names when they're born - the first is their given name, what they would be called by everyone around them. The second two names are their father's names. For example, Mahla Rey Nahls is the daughter of Rey Nahls. When she marries, Mahla will drop her father's names and take her husband's instead. Her husband, will lose the last of his three names, signifying the start of his own family line.
