Love is a Battle-Field
In the basement of The Saucy Tart three bound souls were discovered by Fulb Petcher & Nimbus.
The Three Souls:
Fulb Petcher is bound to the angry soul.
This soul is full of rage and disappointment at his cowardice. Many years ago he made a deal to release the souls of the lovers to rest. Yet he failed them and himself in the process. To free the lovers he endeavored to recover their wedding knot, portions of the tapestries of their houses tied together. In his fear of the location of the Knot, he knew his deal was sour and such, he came to the The Saucy Tart to quite literally drown his sorrows in a keg of ale. In the basement, he died, drowning in the drink.
Nimbus is bound to the lovers.
Via the Blood Bound Goblet, that now holds the lifeblood of Nimbus and the soul essence of the lovers.
Last known location of "The Knot":
According to the angry soul, he traced the Knot to the ancient battlefield where humans and dwarves fought a bloody war. On the side of a mountain where a great citadel can be seen and the vision of a large lake; he believed the Knot to be. The site of this location is said to be owned by a great and dangerous Black Dragon.
The Three Souls:
- An ancient native woman who is longing for her love to return. (Ancient Common, "Tepee in the morning at sunrise"
- An ancient soldier forced to fight in a war not his own. (displays a grievous wound, shoulder-to-shoulder gash suffered on his final battle)
- A more recent soul who found the two, and made a deal to save them. Bound to them and angry he could not release their spirits.
