The Quarantine

The Quarantine is a world-turned-wasteland full of sand and ash. Of the inhabitants there are four types of known intelligent life: The Film, The Quara, The Revolvers (also referred to as Spinners), and The Zinc.   The Quara are a frail, tall, and highly intelligent people who believe in the Divine Spark, and the potential of usurping their God. In fact, most of their society revolves around this belief. Well, that and slavery.   The Film are a tall, burly race that are kept as slaves by the Quara. Those who are not enslaved live in nomadic tribes across the wastes.   The Revolvers/Spinners are squid-like amphibious humanoids capable of producing electricity. Their origins are obscure at best, and they are used as living batteries by the Quara.   The Zinc are the least intelligent and most tribal of all known groups. Few smart Zinc ever wander to civilized lands, but when they do, they pave the way to new innovations in technology.   Outside of Oasis, few know what there is. Who knows? Maybe there's something out there worth finding.
