Maz Kanata

Maz Kanata, also known as Maz Kanata the Usurper, Kanata the Despoiler, Kanata the Benevolent and Kanata of the Free Fleet
Maz Kanata has often endeavored to protect items of Galactic political importance in order to prevent wars and other civil disturbance.  Her motto "In times of peace, we plunder best" meant that she often sought to prevent wars and other events that would disturb the work of those that benefitted most from periods of prosperity and peaceful trade between worlds, pirates such as her.
