Ashriden Wood

The Ashriden Wood was located at the western edge of Wrayatora, and was a dark and dense forest that held an air of mystery and danger. The trees seemed to raise their branches to the sky, as if they were reaching for something, and the canopy was so thick that the sunlight was unable to penetrate through. It was filled with many dangerous animals, and those brave enough to venture into the depths of the wood would hear the sounds of growling and snarling coming from the shadows.
The rumors that circulated around the wood were of creatures attacking travelers in the area. People whispered tales of mysterious creatures that moved in the shadows, and of travelers who had gone into the wood and never returned. There were stories of giant beasts that were said to be lurking in the darkness, and of mysterious shapes that appeared in the night sky.
Of course, no one knows if these rumors were true, but they added to the already mysterious air of the Ashriden Wood. No one was sure what lurked in the shadows, but one thing was for sure: The Ashriden Wood was not a place to be taken lightly.
