Khimheim

Khimheim, nestled at the eastern edge of Beaverheim Timberland, is a hidden city of mysterious magic and grace. Home to Forest Gnomes, the city is strategically positioned along the borders of the lush Shawver Forest, providing inhabitants with an abundance of resources and protection. The gnomes are real masters of illusion, using powerful magic to shield the city from view and ward off malevolent threats.
The city is managed by a council of elders who have been chosen by the gnomes for their wisdom, fairness, and power. They act as the stewards of the enclave, dispensing justice and keeping order. Prized among the Gnomes is their deep spiritual connection with the forest-dwelling animals. The Gnomes see them as allies, relying on the small woodland creatures as valuable sources of information and guidance.
Intruders venturing too close to Khimheim are often met with illusions that confuse or disorient them. The Gnomes use their magic to guide the uninvited away from the city and leave them mystified, unable to find it again.
Khimheim is indeed a secret city, protected and cloaked by the love of its Gnomes and the guidance of their forest companions.
