Lord Gestor Avrael, Hierophant of Orcus

Lord Gestor Avrael was an influential nobleman and property owner in the city of Brynstadt. He and his wife, Omra Avrael], were revealed to be the heads of a demonic Cult of Orcus that laired beneath the city. Both he and Omra met their end and the hands of the Order of the Argent.
Lord Gestor Avrael appeared to be the leader, or heirophant, of this sect of the Cult. He was the mastermind behind the creation of an abyssal gateway crafted from thanatan marble that would serve as a portal into the Abyss itself. 
He led a ritual deep beneath the city wherein he would sacrifice numerous lives on desecrated altars to fuel the opening of this portal. Ultimately, he was killed and the archway destroyed, thwarting the Brynstadt Cult of Orcus' attempts at opening a demonic rift.
