The Ordu-Lagh Battleprayer

The Ordu-Lagh (often times translated into Common simply as the Order, or more informally as battle-ragers) are a dwarven religious military order dedicated to Haela Brightaxe, dwarven goddess of war. Currently the Ordu-Lagh hold significant political power in the Afhurthan Litharchy, mostly due to the current Primarch Bierdelan ag Gorthuun being a former member of the Ordu-Lagh and Chosen of Haela Brightaxe.
The Ordu-Lagh originated as a small splinter group of dwarven clerics and chaplains during the second orcish invasion of 562 CA who formed to counter the threat of orcish shamans who energized their allies. Their effectiveness was seen as a blessing by Haela Brightaxe herself, and numerous other dwarven soldiers were accepted into the Order.

The Ordu-Lagh have benefited from a near mythic reputation and are seen as an important cultural element in Afhurthan Dwarf society. However, many others see the Ordu-Lagh as obsessive, zealous, and unpredictable individuals even outside of war. The organization, being one dedicated to war, is often quick to incite violence as a solution.
