Pellin

Pellin is a large village in the Nyhavanite League, sitting on the League's eastern border with the Waymarch. Pellin was once a prime target for the various goblinoids and bandits that lurked in the southern reaches of the nearby Fellroot Forest until the village was incorperated in the the League and made into a trade outpost and border town through which all goods to and from the Waymarch passed. Increased guard presence has since dissuaded highwary robbery in recent years. 
  
Pellin is also notable for being one of the first casualties of the Djeran Expansion War. After the Golden Host invaded Wayrest, they launched a brutal pre-emptive strike against Pellin to crush any mobilization attempts by Pellinite militia and to deprive future rebels from a foothold in the region.
Pellin has since fully recovered in the decade since the war's end, due in no small part to the efforts of nearby Yargrove and aid from the Waymarch. As such, Pellin has a good relationship with both cities.
