Sarthak the Worldbreaker

Sarthak the Worldbreaker is a mythic figure, thought by most to be a now deposed deity. In legend, Sarthak was a titanic draconic creature, similar to a Dragonborn, who roamed the world before recorded history. Many natural landmarks such as mountains, lakes, and valleys were once thought to be the result of Sarthak's travels across the world. Very few of these names have survived into the Current Age, the most well known landmark being Sarthak's Strait, the narrow channel that deposits into Marhave Bay. This formation was once part of a larger landmark called Sarthak's Jaws, with the northern terrestrial region referred to as the Upper Jaw and the southern region called the Lower Jaw. Parts of this naming convention remain, with the southern region keeping the simplified name The Jaws. 
Whether Sarthak was a monstrous beast or some sort of primeval deity is unknown, but many to this day offer prayers to the behemoth.
