While not strictly-speaking
sentient, the Braggart's Blade does possess some form of consciousness that can impower itself with great fury. It is, however, lazy. It will not rouse itself from its slumber for just any ol' mook, only a foe that the Blade has beef with will feel the vicious bite of its edge. It does, however, have a very limited memory. It is also very gullible.
Those with a sharp tongue and quick reflexes may unlock the damage potential of the Blade if they can convince the latent spirit within that
