Our loyalty to each other will stand as a bulwark of light against the tides of darkness!" an excerpt from the founding words of Brethelda the Bright, First Queen of LightharborThe Kingdom of Lightharbor is a monarchy established in 1156 by Brethelda the Bright, who is commonly referred to as a Saint by the citizens of the kingdom. The kingdom spans the entirety of the The Hammerlands, The Low Country, and extends past the Ibanon River to the foothills of Chalice's Rim. Lightharbor was founded after a pilgrimage undertaken by Saint Brethelda after recieving a vision by the diety Lathander, called the Morninglord. It is still unknown from where exactly Saint Brethelda's pilgrimage began, but most historians agree that Breathelda likely began her journey somewhere in the central realm. During this pilgrimage Saint Brethelda gained the faith and loyalty of numerous other hamlets and villages, whose citizens accompanied her on her journey. It is from these pilgrims that most of the Chivalrous Orders of Lightharbor are descended. Lightharbor is the third most economically affluent province behind the Afhurthan Litharchy and The Nyhavanite League.
