Temple of Amagwelnaurnen (Ama-Gwel-Nar-Nen)
The finest training academy in all the Realm for elemental mages. The temple itself is divided into five structures, one for each element's training and one for gatherings of all of the groups.
For being on sun baked, sandy island, the academy has amenties you won't find all together even in the wealthiest places on the mainland - instantly hot water, spark powered lamps, indoors cooled by frosted air between the stones, and even no threat of sinking into the sea, as other sandy islands can with the passing of years.
Not all who manifest elemental powers may hone their arts at Magewick. Only the ones that show dangerously strong powers are sent, and of those, only those who can harness them with skill are trained to mastery.
For those who show no talent for control, dampening spells are put in place before they are sent home. Or so the masters say. Some Magewick alumni have attempted to keep in touch, to no avail.
