Sword of Athrad

The sword of Athrad is the most powerful weapon in all of Gundar. It's blade is forged of Black Adamantine from the underdark, It's hilt is made from the fang of a sand basalisk, It's cross-guard and pommel are are made platinum, and embedded in it's hilt is the Athrad Gem, a Shathrandiil crystal ingrained with powerful elemtal magic.

History

The blade was forged to show the peace between the dwarves, humans, and the elves after the Great War. The dwarves supplied the black adamantine, the humans supplied the basalisk fang, and the elves supplied the shathrandiil crystal. The blade was forged in the stjora bezmadan(Great forge). After it was forged, the elves raided the stjora bezmadan to steal the blade, and that sparked the athrad war. The elves eventualy won the blade, and it has been in the hands of every elven aran(King) since.

The blade was forged in an elven fasion, and can slice through almost anything with deathly percision.
