Formican

Gigantic ants, Formicans stand at around the same size as standard people (Albeit horizontally). They are highly intelligent and are able to sense the earth around them. They are also capable of communicating with other Formicans telepathically and can speak with ants.   Ability Score Increase. Increase either your Dexterity or Intelligence score by 2 and your other score by 1   Age. Formicans are considered adults at the age of 7 and live to be about 50 years old.   Alignment. Tend to be lawful, leaning towards a neutral alignment. Their culture is mostly insect-like in their mentality, and as such holds little concept of morality.   Size. Formicans can be 5 to almost 7 feet long and somewhere between 3 to 5 feet tall. Your size is Medium.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Arthropod Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push or drag.   Ant Like Senses. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. In addition, you have tremorsense up to a range of 15 feet. If you have or gain a feature that grants you tremorsense, you gain the combined range of both.   Insect Mind. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed. In addition, once per day when you’re subjected to a saving throw by an effect, spell or ability that isn’t intelligence, you can choose to make an intelligence saving throw instead. Lastly, you're able to telepathycally communicate with any other Formican within 60 feet of you that you can sense.   Poisonous Bite. As a bonus action, you can attempt to bite a creature within 5 feet of you. Make an unarmed strike against the target. On a hit the target must make a Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the end of your next turn. The DC for this saving throw is equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus, and you can't use this trait again until you finish a short or long rest. If you have any features that allow you to attack as a bonus action with an unarmed strike, you may add this ability to the attack.   Ant Climb. You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.   Sunlight Sensitivity. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.   Languages. You can speak, read and write Common, Formican, and Undercommon.

Cultural Notes:

Infamous:

As expected from their reputation, most Formicans are feared across Milnir outside their own territory of Anthold. Many associate the presence of a Formican with signs of a Formican invasion, a thing inhabitants of West Milnir fear consistently.
