God of War, Ynnkrug
God of war, pain and violence, Ynnkrug came to be before The Cleansing, and he reveled in it, the thrill of battle fueling him forward. A resentment grew within him as the war was brought to a stop by The Two, which has made him seek to harm Creation's most recent and valuable invention: mankind.
Harnessing all which lies dormant in mortals’ deepest, darkest, most primal parts of living, Ynnkrug is empowered by acts of violence, war, vengeance and other such acts of pain being done to another. It is said he strikes those with an innate desire for violence and empowers them to do harm. Some theorize The Great War may have started thanks to him.
Ynnkrug's most fervent followers are those who revel in violence and seek it out at every opportunity. They are brutal and bloodthirsty, often forming bands of marauders, raiders, and mercenaries that leave destruction in their wake. Many fanatical gladiators fight in Ynnkrug's name, seeking to prove their devotion through acts of violence and slaughter. Leaders and chieftains seek Ynnkrug's blessings before heading into battle. These commanders believe that by invoking his power, they will gain an edge in conflict and ensure victory through ruthless tactics and overwhelming force, although many bardic stories that recount such events are usually made up of cautionary tales, with Ynnkrug taking much more than he gives, and then asking for more. Remaining orc tribes and communities across the Realm still worship him zealously, engaging in dark rituals to honor their deity through acts of brutality. Many orc weaponry is infused with Ynnkrug's curse, which empowers their equipment and causes wounds to be unable to heal.
The Children of Ynnkrug are a set of Minor Deities that have been born out of his will, and each are just as wild and cruel as him
