Lamis, The Archdruid
Also known as the God of Nature, Lamis is a legendary figure in Milnir. As one of the creators of The Great Tree, he is seen as a symbol of balance and harmony, a champion of nature and its preservation. Lamis was born with a deep connection to the natural world, gifted with the ability to communicate with and command the creatures that lived within it. In his youth, Lamis was a solitary figure, traveling the realm and studying the ways of nature. It was during these travels that he met Auth and Öldrin, and together, the three of them played a key role in stopping both the Great War and the Primordial war between the elemental planes. After the war, Lamis turned his attention to the creation of The Great Tree, a massive structure designed to keep balance between the elemental planes and preserve the magic that flowed through Milnir. He has long since passed after the battle against Auth, The Lich King, but his being remained. Urd, who held a deep respect for the Archdruid, granted him a second chance when he arrived at the Garden of Souls. He could pass on, remain on her Realm calmly and quietly fading into eternal rest. Or he could ascend, and unlike Auth's wretched God-like form, become a real Deity. He could protect nature across the Realm, and ensure his people would be forever safe under his watch. Feeling his duty not finished yet, Lamis ascended, and now represents the very will of Nature.
Some say that when going through the great forests of Arvandor, Lamis will show himself to those who are lost and help them find their way. Stories of people catching glimpses and tales of sightings of him walking about the nearby woods are many, and have cemented his legendary status across all of Milnir.
His legacy lives on, as the Archdruids that follow in his footsteps continue to protect the Great Tree in Sylvandar and maintain the balance of the realm.
Most followers of Lamis are druids that also follow Urd's teachings. The highest honor among them is getting to serve the Great Tree in Sylvandar.
