Lycrus represents inspiration and artistic creation. He guides artists, writers, and performers, infusing their work with creativity. Legends and bardic tales allude to being an off-spring of Illnis, Goddess of Knowledge, brought into creation to direct Illnis' gift of knowledge into something more.
Many bards and artists of different fields revere him and he holds the highest number of written songs, legends and tales about him, with a general theme of inspiring artists in their darkest hour or associating legendary works of art to him.
