Sanam

Sanam, capital of Valtara and home of one of the biggest trading ports in the Realm. It holds a strong connection to Water Elemental culture and practises, and as such follows many Primordial traditions. They've integrated some days and festivals from their primordial companions, such as The Grand Tide and the Day of Rainmourning. One of the reasons to their strong presence upon the fishing and sea trade economy is due to their connection to the sea and Water Elementals. Not only do some of the best sailors in the Realm come from Sanam and Valtara, but they are directly assisted by elemental beings from the seas in their endeavors, which has allowed them to not only strengthen their economy but also form the Valtarian Sea Travel Agency, which allows for travel to most parts of Sioa and the surrounding nations, empowered and protected by the presence of Elementals. It is both a wonder and a sight to behold to ride upon one of their Sioan ships, some of the fastest water vessels around.
