Aether
Energy is as diverse as matter, taking different forms, each with their own properties. The energy that composes most energy beings is a more dormant, static form, similar to matter, acting largely as an easily converted storage of power.
This form of energy is referred to as Aether, the building blocks of a being of energy and often prevalent within beings of matter as well. Just as aether is used at the whim of a being of matter, matter is used at the whim of a being of energy.

Properties
Material Characteristics
Undetectable to commonly shared senses by most biological creatures, aether is most palpable by those with the innate capability of manipulating it. Often likened to oxygen for its difficulty to be detected by its presence alone, instead being found by its interaction with matter or other forms of energy.
Physical & Chemical Properties
A largely static form of energy that makes it a suitable option for storing large amounts of energy in a readily convertible state. Aether gravitates towards other aether, resulting in even distribution or concentrated clumps.

History & Usage
Everyday use
Aether is often used as a material converted into other forms of energy or substances, as it's quite malleable in its applications.
