Considered a rather drastic measure by most Spellscribes, Arcana Ultima is used only when the destruction of a target is considered a reasonable outcome.

Effect

Incantations are infused with aether aspected to 'Arcane', resulting in dramatically increased potency and unstable reactions with existing conditions.

Side/Secondary Effects

Given the spell's nature of requiring the usage of the caster's internal aether reserves, the spell is prone to exhausting casters after consecutive incantations. The risk of incantations being reflected is further augmented by its enhanced devastation.

Manifestation

An aura of impending doom follows immediately after a brief flash of light emanating from the caster. Incantations glow brighter, sound louder and are laced with ripples in the air.
