Chapter 21: The Knight of Goop

General Summary

After years had passed and Luanshi began his career as a delivery boy, his travels have sent him far and wide in exchange for reasonable financial compensation. Accepting yet another delivery to the Northern Frontier, Luanshi was to keep the package wrapped and secured for the long journey. Paid upfront and given little indication as to who exactly he's delivering to, beyond 'a hermit who loves atop a waterfall', he set from Kochi out regardless, onto another adventure.
He traversed the snowy hills using a makeshift contraption. Though it served him most of the way, the journey was perilous and did not bear repeating. His arrival at the bottom of the slope placed him close to the Great Woods, towering over the horizon ahead. As he managed to find a path, so too would he find a bridge. And where there's a bridge, there's a certain person awaiting a good fight. Da Kaye, all grown up, once again stood in his path with his usual bravado. And as they must, they fought.
After a long, hard-fought battle, it was the grown-up Kaye that delivered his finishing move first and won the duel. Much to Luanshi's chagrin, he went on, to continue his delivery.
