Chapter 8: Teshi or not Tenshi

General Summary

Samantha rose from her meditation without issue and was able to take the time to tend to her hygiene. As she finished up, her access tablet, previously deprived of function following the destruction of the Orbital Monitoring Station, sprung back to life. It began to reconnect to a network and commence updating, which would take a long time.
Luanshi on the other hand had another complication, rising later, as his soul rejoined with his body and mind. Kai Shin, the Soulbinder, had already come to Luanshi to provide aid, though it seemed it was not needed. The visions Luanshi witnessed may very well be real, and not the result of some ailment. Yet only time could tell if there was more to it. Before departing, he would take some complementary items to-go.
The treatment has cost the party a total of 300 Wan, which seems to have been most of the money they brought with them for this trip. In spite of initially seeking to talk to the resident Master about worldly politics, the thought slipped from the party's mind after enduring a relaxing session.
They decided to depart towards the Seat of the Empire, though the fought of Teshi never ceasing her torment over declining a duel was too much for Luanshi. The party decided to accept the challenge.
Though not recalling that the challenge was to gang up on Samantha, a stranger arriving at the scene allowed the intended duel to take place. The party versus Teshi and Tenshi both, to even the odds a little.
The fight seemed to far outpace what the surroundings would be able to handle, and so Teshi halted it to relocate. The Great Plains would be the next vista where they would continue their duel.
