Causes

Introduction of a League of Bro Power Cell to a functional physical vessel.

Symptoms

The Power Cell will first supply its vessel with a surge of free energy. This energy can be readily converted by its host to produce potent displays of power.

Treatment

Denying the Power Cell the required catalyst, which is to be taken periodically by the host, will cause the Power Cell to evacuate the host's systems and revert all pending changes to the physiology of the host.

Prognosis

If the host is able to sustain the Power Cell within their body, it will begin to modify the physiology of its host to replicate the functions of technological devices in close proximity to the host.
After a period of roughly two months, the Power Cell will no longer need the catalyst to remain within the host and will have fully integrated as a symbiotic entity.

Hosts & Carriers

Any suitable vessel, whether biological or mechanical may serve as a suitable host for a Power Cell. Mechanical hosts lacking a soul have been shown to attract one. The Power Cell will fully merge with the body of a mechanical host or a deceased biological host and provide the soul a means to control this assimilated vessel.

History

Project Blue Moon was started in the early days of BROFIST, as a means to assess the capabilities of the Supreme Commander's physical manifestation. Dividing the body into 207 fragments, dubbed Omni-colored Power Cell, and introducing them into the systems of both man and machine resulted in a variety of outcomes that continue to provide the League with new findings.
Of all subjects, only two living biological being were accepted: Garret Hawkes and Trace.
Of both subjects, only Garret Hawkes has remained alive throughout the entire project.
Trace suffered an early death, which resulted in the Power Cell completely devouring and recreating his body, completely assimilating it. This process seems to have transformed him from a being of Matter to a being of Energy.

Cultural Reception

As there's no real distinction between a subject that entered Project Blue Moon or a run-of-the-mill Superhero, the reception to these enhancements are non-existent.
