Aztlan
The Aztlan (pronounced ahz-lahn) are draconian lizard-like humanoids, and will attest with their dying breathe their anathema towards chaos, their hatred of the
Chaotic Skrzzak and their desire for structure, order, and that they are in fact the First Born of the Creator and the favored of the Primordial Dragon that created Thissel. All of these are true to the Aztlan, but they are not what occurs in reality. They are just as influenced by the darkness as their hated kin – but their embrace of it is rather a rage against it.
Aztlan life is dictated by ritual and rote, and they will follow the same motions daily in order to appease the Creator and or the aspects of the Creator that they lesser races follow. They also have superiority complexes and are rather narcissistic, dressing in ostentatious feathers and intricate war masks to both impress and frighten. Aztlan are an intelligent Ancestry in constant consultation with the Creator and the Ancient Ones (Daemons of Order), and masters in the ways of astrology, architecture and war. Theirs is a highly structured society organized into castes that are heavily reliant on each other.
This means that they have to rely greatly on others when they take journeys beyond their lands, often to discover lost artifacts of their gods or clean up dangerous outbursts of corruption. They will work with other beings, but they usually have to be physically forced to even speak to a Skrzzak without ripping their limbs off. During these now unified War Times the Atherozz Kingdom has contributed combined Aztlan troops to the war effort, as the war times move to peace times the Aztlan usually return to their homeland. Some however have started to remain behind due to their own curiosity and interests.
