Oddfolk

Natives to the realm of Oddities.   Oddfolk life is extremely varied and inconsistent compared to the other realms. Some Oddfolk can live a relatively normal life away from aberrations and phobias. However, the majority of Oddfolk tend to become embroiled of some form of hysteria, fear, or other mental malady at some point in their lives.   Population of Oddfolk is slim compared to other realms. They experience external threats of horrific transient creatures well beyond the combative capability of a standard human, magicka surging from the ground itself as a wellspring of hissing death, the laws of physics faltering and redirecting themselves, political spats and squabbles over the formation of new landmasses, and rifts tearing constantly, sending their ilk to foreign lands.   If not external, then they are afflicted by the mental strain and influence of things beyond their understanding.   Despite the harshness of Oddlife, there are many opportunities for Oddfolk. Many citizens find roles as affluent members of society, royalty, and decorated warriors in their lifetime. They do not submit to a caste, defined roles, or hierarchy, save for the Oddcourt.   Oddfolk will eat whatever they can find. Subsistence farming tends to be the primary means of citizens feeding themselves.
