Rifts – The most direct but unpredictable way to transcend a realm. Rifts occur when the veil between the realms are thin, and less madness is present. Rifts can occur violently with a spectacle of noise and color, flashing in open air inviting the adventurous and unwary to enter. Rifts also can be silent and no amount of preparation can predict the activity of a silent rift. Silent rifts can occur on the path of an everyday activity that suddenly becomes unusual beyond logic.
