Located in the mountains of Phasmye, the town of Drewyre is the largest outside of the capital, mainly because the town is famous for being the only place to get Viridian Brilliant-Firecrests feathers. The town has been designed to encourage the birds to nest in the town area and promote a coexistent between the inhabitants and the Firecrests. As a result, the town is often visited by Adventurers looking to acquire a Firecrest cloak or Phoenixians after the unique color of the feathers.
Architecture
The houses of the town have open roofs, many having gardens or flowers to increase the number of the bugs that the Firecrests prefer to eat in the the town. The roads between the buildings are open and covered in greenery, with many trees growing in the roads.
Many of the shops that sell the Firecrest cloaks gather the cloaks from the families that make them, paying them a section of the profits made from them. It is not only shops that sell Firecrest cloaks in the town, as several have discovered how to recreate the color of the birds and have begun selling paintings and carvings of the birds to Phoenixians that desire the color but cannot afford the actual feathers.
Trade
The feathers of Viridian Brilliant-Firecrests must be gathered carefully, as they have the unfortunate habit of bursting into flame if the bird is harmed in the process of gathering the feathers. As a result of the care needed and the demand for the feathers, many of the inhabitants of the town have a family of the birds they gather the feathers from. Many make the Firecrests cloaks the town is famous for while some sell the feathers directly to Phoenixians that have enough coin for the highly demanded feathers.
