Marlington military

The military consists of the following law enforcement agencies:

  • The Royal Guard- 20 groups that vary in size. Each is tasked with the duty of protecting a royal residence and its inhabitants.
  • The Navy-- 3 base groups each split between 7 ships. They are tasked with the protection of the sea and beaches
  • The Dragons- 3 base groups each split between five flight vessels.
  • The Wolves- 5 base groups each split between five bases. They are tasked with the protection of the land and aiding the groups around them.

Ranks

 

The ranks within each agency are as follows:

The head of the military is ranked as General.
  • Chief- head of the agency
  • Deputy Chief- in charge of a base or area.
  • Captain- in charge of a group.
  • Lotanates- in charge of a team within the group.
  • Sergeant- in charge of a --- within a team.
  • Soldier- an active member of an agency.
  • Cadet- in the process of becoming a Soldier.
  • [ul Each law enforcement agency has a separate head who is ranked as a Chief. They all report to the general and are part of the committee of chiefs. Others that sit there are the heads of doctors, casualty officers, tech support, teaching and intelligence branches.

    Traning

    Cadets go one of three routes to become soldiers.
    • The first option is signing up to become a soldier straight away. This is a three-year contract.
    • The second option is people of the profession joining. Doctors, psychiatrists, cooks and other trained personnel join into their respective field. This is a five-year contract.
    • the third option is joining the military academy from the age of four-teen to eight-teen and then becoming a soldier. This is a ten-year contract from the end of the academy.
    The academy also offers a program for students of the academy to stay an extra year and gain leadership experience in order to have a better chance at advancing the ranks.
