Nacuja-Yichat

Nacuja-Yichat, the Deep One, hides down in the cold, labyrinthine trenches of the Liquid Night. Within the Arat Mapuya-Morrek, any form of worship of them is considered heresy and merely speaking their name is profane.
Due to this, actual descriptions of the deity are rare. Those that have been found are all very similar and mention them as a liminal being without start or end; a million mouths within mouths with a million eyes and teeth each.
Role
Nacuja-Yichat is associated with rot, withering, and decay — but more so of the mind than of the body. They roil through a mire of forfeit memories, forgotten dreams, abandoned hopes and fears, discarded morals, and other lost treasures. The Unspoken Fear
Among followers of the Arat Mapuya-Morrek, Nacuja-Yichat primarily represents everything there is to fear about aging and dying: the inevitable withering of your body and decay setting into your mind. They will slowly eat all you learnt and experienced until you're no longer yourself, leaving you as a hollow husk to be abandoned and forgotten by those that come after you. In later generations, Nacuja-Yichat has become associated with much more than just the fear of aging, dying, and being forgotten. To most modern followers they are the cause of everything that may 'make you who you weren't meant to be'.The Silent Rain
A minority — marked as heretics by the Arat Mapuya-Morrek — view Nacuja-Yichat in a much brighter light. To them they are bringer of the Silent Rain: a cleansing of the soul and body to rid them of all their doubts and fears just before it's time to leave the mortal life behind. Nacuja-Yichat lifts the weight of the universe off your shoulders when you grow sick and tired, and blesses you with the bliss of ignorance and forgetfulness as a reward for a life well lived. And teaches you that it doesn't matter if you're remembered, as long as you're satisfied with what you accomplished in your lifetime.Mythology
Nacuja-Yichat was one of the three Arat Pakhi that defied the Eternal Discord and used the Hymn the create the Order of the Universe. They took it upon them to care for the beginning and the end, while Hezys-Alamat cared for what came between the beginning and the end, and Rumon-Bhatak cared for what came between the end and the beginning. After committing a great transgression Nacuja-Yichat was stripped of their name, cursed, and banished to the Liquid Night — a twilight realm between the Ordered Universe and the Eternal Discord beyond. The curse made them able to survive the touch of the chaos and entropy but twisted them into something so unfathomably hideous a mortal would die upon seeing them. After becoming Nacuja-Yichat, they're forced to stalk the deep maze of the Liquid Night. Their million eyes filled with contempt for Hezys and Yataci who cast them out, and million teeth gnashing in jealousy of Taroka-Mha that replaced them. The eyes and teeth are symbolic to both Nacuja-Yichat and Taroka-Mha: The deity of beginnings and ends give you your eyes and teeth after you are born, and you give them back again as you get old.
