Causes
The fleas that contain the disease infect the host body, then the disease will spread through out the body in a day. Then coughing will start and will cause the disease to spread and infect other in the process. It was designed to do so by it creator, the Raven Cult. As long as the fleas are around it will still likely to spread in most cases.
Symptoms

- Large black boils
- coughing
- rage
- hallucination
- splitting headache
Treatment
If you are you are in the early stage of the sickness, you can take medicine to stop the disease from spreading across the body. But the medicine itself contains Aterin, a highly dangerous plant material that can result in sever conditions if not properly administered correctly. The medicine once ingested causes to over heat to burn away the disease and can be quite painful. If not done properly, it can lead to heat stroke, organ failure, becoming brain dead, and death.
Prognosis
Once the disease take hold the person's mind is turned to a feral state, acting more like wild animals and attack people. Often going on basic instinct alone for now on until they are killed.
Sequela
Those who have been cure will often will be affect by heightened aggression and paranoia.

The pox itself can affect just about anyone.
Hosts & Carriers
It can be carried by fleas that are on animals such as dogs and horses.
Prevention
Kill the fleas with by burning materials covered with and clean animals to kill them as well. The fleas to not like heat either so being in humid conditions can help as well. Along with covering your face in order for no one to cough into it.
Epidemiology
The animals cover with the fleas will be close to people and the fleas will then jump on them and continue to due so until everyone is infected. It will often happen in crowed places such as streets and public places were it is easier to spread.
History
The Raven Cult was the first to design the disease by using fleas a means to carry the disease without anyone knowing the cause if it. There have been several epidemics since its creation over a thousand years ago, often being in cities were it is most effective in. No one knew the cause of it and it quickly spread and thousand of feral humans went on rampages and killed many that were in their way. Some of them even mange to get into the countryside and terrorized many in the process. Armies are often sent in to deal with them since there can often be to many of them to deal with alone. But they are still dangerous since they often swarm someone quite easily before tearing them apart. But as a cure was made
Cultural Reception
People tend to be afraid of the infected and usually try lock them up or kill them if they get out of hand. Those who take matters into their own hands will often kill them and burn their bodies in order to stop the spreading of the disease.
