The Leviathan is considered one of the great mythical beasts ever to inhabit the world's oceans, and no one knows if there are just one or many others of its kind lurking about the deep waters below the surface. But all sailors prey to never see such a creature, for they believe it will swallow their ships whole and take them to the dark abyss below.

For as long as there have been sailors, there have been tales of the Leviathan prowling the oceans to devour ships in its path. However, there is never a clear answer to what it exactly looks like or what its true origins come from. Survivors of said attack are often not identical, and many are found driven mad or have no recollection of what happened. The only facts that seem to share similarities are the creature's size and the devastation it can bring. Still, none have seen its full size and actual appearance leaving wild tales being told as myth and legend surround it at every table where sailors commune with one another.
