the building of the fire salamander

In the city of Allom a building was constructed after the battle of Allom. this building was made by the Mason and leader Raltor after the battle of Allom  to remember the great battle and his loyal companion a fire salamander. it is a small building in the center of town. the building is like a gazebo there are 8 marble pillars forming a octagon with arches in between them that look like roaring flames. there are steps leading up to the building on 4 of the sides alternating a wall and then a entrance. inside the building is a smooth stone floor on the bottom of the pillars etched in black marble are shadow creatures. on the walls is a story of the battle on one wall is the army charging into the city with the king fleeing. on the second wall is Raltor with the dwarven split blade leading the charge with his fire salamander in to the city of Allom. on the third wall shows the fire salamander being vanquished by the shadow creatures while protecting Raltor. the fourth and final wall shows them pushing the shadow creatures to the surface and them burning by sunlight. in the center of the room is a pedestal with a stone box that has the body of the fire salamander in it. each pillar has an arch carved to look like flame leading to the center of the ceiling. in the center of the ceiling a stone lantern hangs illuminating the room. the roof of the building slopes up to a point where a sculpture of a large fire salamander sits blowing a breath of fire into the air. this building is used to hold a ceremony to title a new fire salamander. a fire salamander is someone who will protect the split blade the dwarves have. the sword made by forged by light that grants might.
