Celestial Technology Classifications

The classification of facts, the recognition of their sequence and relative significance is the function of science, and the habit of forming a judgment upon these facts unbiased by personal feeling is characteristic of what may be termed the scientific frame of mind.   ― Karl Pearson   The dominant society of any inhabited celestial body can be classified according to the peak range of that society's technological advancements. Here we will break down the five primary classifications of Celestial Technology Classifications.

Class I

Class I societies are those which have not even speculated on Wildspace  travel. This does not preclude that society from having embarked onto other planets by different means, namely the Plane Shift Spell.

Class II

Class II societies are those which have determined that Wildspace travel is possible and may have even embarked on Wildspace trips on a limited scale.

Class III

Class III societies are those which have embarked on Wildspace trips on a massive scale and have landed on other celestial bodies.

Class IV

Class IV societies are those which have embarked on Wildspace trips on a massive scale and fully explored their Crystal Sphere.

Class V

Class V societies are those which have fully explored their Crystal Sphere and have made limited trips to other Crystal Spheres.

Class VI

Class VI societies are those which can fully explore the Phlogiston.
Like all classifications, these are to serve as an initial framework for determining the general relationships of a collection. As such, it only vaguely describes societies in general terms of their Wildspace faring capability.
