Dr. Gritz Malone
Dr. Gritz Malone gambled way into med school. Born in the back alleys of baldur’s gate grits was on his way to joining the church of ogmah when a spelljammer abducted him on the way to the candy store.
Since then he’s been in one university after the next. Recently getting his md he is working on his PhD but owes a shocking amount of debt to his bookie after losing it all on a giant space hamster wrestling match. He works now aboard a spelljammer ship hoping to find quick cash to pay off his debt. He’s got family back in baldur’s gate but hasn’t seen them in years, he had a one night stand with an archfey (it was weird and he was too drunk at the time to remember what he said, when he woke up there was a giph and two space monkeys in bed with him. He loves karaoke but is appalling at it.
He kinda hates how shitty his home is and never wants to go back. He’s become a bit too accustomed to advanced spelljammer life, and really just wants to hide out on the ship and wait out whatever disaster he unwittingly signed up for to pay off his debt.
