A high priest of Kali, Bringer of Peace, is necessary for all operations of a temple or shrine in the religions of the Ironfoot Isles. Kali is a "preservation god", and is also the one who brings peace to the dead. The high priest is generally necessary for almost all operations of the church, and can overrule high priests of Tukod or Kahiga, due to Kali's precedence in most temples.

Qualifications

To be a high priest of Kali, you must undergo rigorous interview by other high priests, to make sure you have the correct personality and mentality for such a task. Then, one must embark on a two-years journey, to try to lessen the suffering of the poor and weak, and you must give away all your earthly possessions to those less fortunate than you. Finally, you undergo a final rigorous test and are apprenticed to an acting priest.

This priest is responsible for the maintenance of the "heavenly order" which continues to grant protections to everyone from citizens to governments. They also have a seat on the council of elders of their village, although it is non-voting.
