Artifacts
The Gavel Of Gonmatyr |
Effect:
Those who possess the gavel gain the ability to summon constructs with an intended purpose behind them. Constructs are summoned with adequate tools for the specified job, the size and complexity of the construct depends on the task requested. Tasks must be thorough and knowledge of how it could be completed is required for the summons to work.
Example A: One may require the lid of a jar to be removed, with use of the gavel a small robotic construct would be summoned with an armature designed specifically for the jar requested. Example B: One may request protection from a specific known enemy, with use of the gavel a medium to large construct would be summoned with an appropriate form of protection from the enemy. Example C: One may request an enemy to be killed, with use of the gavel a construct of any range of size and complexity could be summoned. If the enemy is near it will begin attacking. If the enemy is not present the construct will begin to hunt for the enemy using any resource it finds to accomplish this goal. The constructs takes no further commands after being summoned and will only attempt to complete the requested task. Once the task has been completed the construct will disappear leaving only a small white pearlescent feather behind at its last location. If a task is impossible no construct will be summoned and a broken bronze gear will manifest instead. If a task is incompletable or failed by the construct it will disappear leaving behind a dark blue feather. |
Lore: It is said the Goddess Gonmatyr fashioned the hammer as her first construct. Creating a being to match her understanding and power of craft, it is unknown if the Gavel itself is sentient as none have come to possess it in the mortal planes. Its power however has been thought to be responsible for the beings known as The Inevitables. The material it is made of is unknown |
