The Allgemeiner Maschinenbau Conglomerate (AMC) or General Engineering Group (GEG) is a conglomerate defense contractor specialized in the research, development, and manufacturering of military vechiles, including starships, armored tanks, troop carriers, land rovers, transporters, and everything inbetween. While other interstellar defense contracts like GAIMON-07 can be relied upon for a consistent level of high quality and companies like the Cult of Aries Inc. pioneer cutting edge designs, AMC follows the philosophy that says if something is not broken, do not fix it.
AMC can mass produce quality machines of war to custom order with expedient delivery times. They take any form of payment and any type of currency. Their products are known the cosmos over and are a favorite for pirate bands and mercernary fleets.

Structure

AMC is composed of several branch organizations that make up the constitution of the entire company.

• GENERAL Engineer: The Research and Development wing. While AMC does have it's own Catalog of homegrown products, GENERAL Engineering focues on perfecting the blueprints of external Catalog products, improve upon or modify the design, slash the price, and undercut the original manufacturer.

• The Numbers Shipyards: The Numbers Shipyardss is a system of centralized and standardized shipyards acorss the cosmos, each run by a Site Manager, the fufill AMC orders. Technically, any Shipyard owned, operated, in partnership or shared by AMC is a Numbers Shipyard so long as the yard has the facilities to fulfill orders. They are centralized and standerized so that any yard can fill any order. Though externally, a Numbers Yard will have a name, internally, they are assigned a Shipyard Identification Number Code.

Military

AMC employs several private contractors for security and assets assurance purposes which acts as their military force. These forces change over time but their seven biggest groups are their most well-paid.

5. The Sisterhood of Panthers (SOP)
6. The Whispering Giants (WGI)
7. The Superior Brotherhood (SUB)¹

These five mercenary guilds have formed their umbrella megacorporation, C.R.I.S.W.C.H., which has dominated the private security sector of space travel. C.R.I.S.W.C.H. itself has many other clients, but its biggest is and always will be AMC. C.R.I.S.W.C.H. operates with a great degree of freedom from AMC and establishes contracts with the AMC Branch Facilities, legally having the right to be offered their security contracts before anyone else per their arrangement with AMC itself.

Trade & Transport

The Allgemeiner Finanzgesellschaft (AFG) is the financial subsidiary of AMC, established to handle all financial transactions, investments, and banking needs of the conglomerate. AFG's primary purpose is to streamline financial operations, manage funds, and provide financial services exclusively for AMC and its Branch Facilities. AFG operates as a distinct division within the AMC structure, reporting directly to the AMC head company. The leadership includes a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and various department heads overseeing areas such as Banking Services, Investments, Risk Management, and Financial Compliance. AFG offers a range of financial services, including but not limited to

1. Asset Management: Managing funds and investments for AMC's various projects.
2. Corporate Banking: Handling AMC's financial transactions, payroll, and day-to-day banking needs.
3. Loans and Financing: Providing financial support for AMC's ventures, ensuring smooth cash flow.

AFG places a strong emphasis on security and confidentiality, aligning with AMC's overall commitment to privacy. Stringent access controls and encryption measures are implemented to safeguard financial data. Employees of AFG undergo similar information wipe procedures to maintain confidentiality. Alternatively, AFG employees can bypass memory wipes by becoming Life Employees, working for AFG until death. While this restricts freedom to a degree, it comes with more appealing benefits.

AFG collaborates closely with each AMC Branch Facility's Finance unit to ensure financial operations align with the conglomerate's overall strategy. AFG and AFG only have the authority to contact other AMC Branch Facilities. The financial relationship between AFG and the Branch Facilities adheres to the same privacy principles, preventing clients from engaging with multiple facilities simultaneously. CRISWCH also benefits from AFG's financial expertise, reinforcing its strong partnership with AMC.

The AFG is responsible for the trade and transportation of assets, goods, and services within the AMC company as a whole. AFG primarily handles the logistics of the movement of assets and incorporates CRISWCH companies on a need-to-know basis to protect AMC's security. To this end, AFG controls several Major Rivers in each of the Miðgarðr Rings so that they move their assets through secured lanes with checkpoints and security detail. In Star Systems that AMC Branch Facilities operate out of, the AFG makes an effort to control all Minor Rivers. Only the AFG has this sensitive information and can be requested by the AMC Head company.

1. The Sisterhood of Panthers (SOP) and the Superior Brotherhood (SUB) used to be one organization, the Occult Hand (OCH). They were split by a fierce civil war which created the SOP and the SUB. Although formally allies, they are very much enemies.

Assest Departure Point of Exit (ADPE) is the inverse of an APIC, serving as the location where assets are exited from the company, this time handled by a different 3rd party, CHOSO Inc. ADPE primarily sees to the exiting of employees after a mind wipe or the delivery of starships to their customers.

Major Imports

Assest Intake Points of Contact (AIPC) are planets, star systems, or galaxies that have been deemed as locations where the AMC or its Branch Facilities will receive resources, personnel, or other assets for their operations. An APIC, by design, is a front in the sense that outsiders will never see AMC secrets or even real AMC employees. This entire process is handled by a 3rd party, the Ludwig Management Group (LUD) which itself is a massive megacorporation of some couple million companies. They receive the assets and hand them off to AMC directly.
