The Dragon-Slayer Ascalon, Sword of St. George

"A weapon forged in the foundries of Heaven, Ascalon is a swordspear, the mix of a long spear-like weapon with a wide sword-like blade. It demanded two hands to wield correctly by smaller men, though St. Geroge of Cappadocia carried it with one. The blade was ivory white which contrasted against the ebony hilt and handle. Holy inscriptions on the face revealed its origin though worn, chipped and faded, its allure remains."

Holy Fire & Divine Light

Holy Fire is a special type of Mahābhūta Transformation that has been infused with Unalloyed Holy Energy, producing an entirely new sub-element of fire altogether. Holy Fire is far more powerful than Mortal Fire and is especially powerful against Unholy beings or magic. The same can be said for Divine Light, which is the Light of Álfheimr that has also been infused with Unalloyed Holy Energies. Both are what gives Ascalon many of it's more queer attributes and allow it to slay powerful beings.

History

The planet Sebrianides in the Saheb Star System was beset by a fierce and mighty dragon, Riarmeon, the Tyrant, who tormented the cities and set the world's sky ablaze. The Kami of the world was kidnapped by Riarmeon, throwing the natural order into disarray. None could oppose Riarmeon until the wandering sword St. George of Cappadocia arrived, happening to pass through on one of his long voyages across the stars. St. George wielded Ascalon, a magnificent swordspear blessed with Holy Fire and Divine Light, forged by his father Henry in the Foundry of Heaven. St. George climbed the world's Yggtree and did battle with the foul Riarmeon, slaying the great dragon on the third day. The Ascalon blade earned the title "Dragon Slayer" and Geroge was honored as a great hero.
